Re: Pyramid Application?!?!
Believe me, I will tell anything that happens! It was a short application, so I'm guessing there is at least one more step in the process, I would think an in person audition, before I would be even close to being selected. But I'm hoping!Odyssey wrote:That's really lucky! I hope you get on and tell us all about it!

Do you think ES is enough of a celebrity? How about Bob Ross? Or does a death certificate reason enough to prevent someone from being on a game show?

This new "Pyramid" better be just like the "Pyramid" of the 1970s and 1980s, not that POS that Donny Osmond hosted a few years ago.Odyssey wrote:Wow, I loved the old Pyramid--what a great show to be on! Good for you! How did you find out about the application process?

Yeah, I don't know what to expect, no one knows for sure since it's not taping yet. I guess there was a pilot shot but you never know if it will be like that or not. What I read online seems to suggest that the pilot was like the original.NellyLunatic1980 wrote:This new "Pyramid" better be just like the "Pyramid" of the 1970s and 1980s, not that POS that Donny Osmond hosted a few years ago.Odyssey wrote:Wow, I loved the old Pyramid--what a great show to be on! I think I would! Remember Fudge Jumbles? They were delicious! I look for them every once in a while, in the grocery store, but I don't think they make them anymore.littlebeast13 wrote:sunflower wrote:I did not...the real peanut butter products are saved for the humans!! That isn't ringing a bell with me. I only remember my grandma's fudge she used to make when I was in preschool..... someone brought in real fudge the first year I worked at Mecca, and it was way to sweet for me to eat.....

That reminds me...I'm not sure if it was in chat, on the bored, or pehaps in my imagination...but didn't someone post a link a while back, to a site where one could purchase various food products of the past, or difficult to find items?

Fudge Jumbles was a brownie mix that came in a box. I'm pretty sure the "jumbles" part had peanut butter. They were really good!littlebeast13 wrote:Hotseat Or Bust! wrote:I think I would! I don't particularly care for chocolate and peanut butter together. My bite was good but I wouldn't eat a lot of them. I like them plain.littlebeast13 wrote:sunflower wrote:I did not...the real peanut butter products are saved for the humans!! Anyway you have to stop asking for baked goods when I know you like everything all burnt and mangled, and that is not the way I make things!!!
