I also was not going to post any more, but the debate goes on so I guess I'll add a bit more. Beebs, the stuff you posted from the website does nothing to convince one that they mention abortion as a viable option for a pregnant woman. As Bob#'s said, if the pregnant woman brings it up, I'm sure they do their very best to talk her out of it. Amanda's blog (which I had never heard of BTW, but I like the page I linked to a lot) posts the e-mails PH's foundation sends out which smack of mind control to me, especially in light of the fact that they target the young. In my clinical experience, the best thing for a pregnant woman who is unsure of what to do would be for her to get some good, non-judgmental, impartial therapy that helps her weigh the pros and cons of every option, according to HER value system. Trying to talk a person into your way of thinking when they are in a vulnerable position stinks and to me, smells cultish.
Let's put this in millionaire terms---abortion pretty evenly divides the country. Why, when trying to attract a national audience, give money to a charity that only half the country can support? If an ATA came in with the lead answer at 50ish percent, I don't think any of us would be too happy.
Oh, and Clem, if one of us winds up pregnant, I guess you don't need to wonder which one would be getting the abortion.
