Putt Putt Golf

#1 Post by Southpaw Fanny » Thu Sep 03, 2009 11:16 am

Several years ago, there was a site that had a putt putt golf game that was rather popular among those on the boards. Does anybody remember the site (or if it's even still around, it was probably rather crude by today's standards). I remember that I played it and played it until I managed to get a game with 18 holes in one, but that was like four computers ago.

Pogo just came out with a Mini Golf Madness game and I am already obsessed. It's a lot schmancier of course, but it made me think of that old game.
Screw you guys, I'm going home.

How is that for timing, I actually created a Merry Man for the Mini Putt craze on the Bored.....

Fickle_Finger_of_Mini_Putt!

I don't remember the site (I still had the WTVT® and couldn't play), but it was circa July of 2002.....

I don't know. I'm still wrestling with my Marbles obsession/addiction. Damn Shameless Weasel, anyway.

Ha, I was going to say that the url had something to do with fish. And then I check your link and it says the author is psychogoldfish, so it must be the one I'm thinking of. Thanks!

Hey Fanny - I won a free 3 month Pogo membership via Subway Scrabble spin to win...want it? I don't know if you have an actual membership or if you use the free stuff, or how it works...but I won't use it myself.

I have a membership, but I think if you win those it will add the time to your subscription so that would be great!

No problem, I'm glad you wanted it. For eating at subway every day, I've won about 3985779 free cookies and that.

You don't eat at Subway...I'm sure there is a thread somewhere that says that...

Anyway, I'm going to eat the cookies!!! Or I'll do what I did last year or the year before, go to Subway, get 30 cookies at once, bring them back home and put them on a nice plate and bring them to someone's house when we're having a get together!

And I believe a cookie is cheaper than the postage to mail you the free cookie coupon...so buy yourself a cookie and we'll call it even!! :P

And by "give away", you mean I spend $7 on a meal deal to get a free 39 cent cookie...it's not that great of a deal. I just looked through my coupons, I've also won 2 free 21 oz sodas and 1 free bag of chips. No free sandwiches though...and I haven't gotten enough letters to spell anything to win yet.
