Incredible update from SwampyTurtles!

#1 Post by christie1111 » Fri Nov 06, 2009 7:52 am

I swear that all the vibes, prayers and white hot glares from this Bored contributed....

From SwampyTurtles Facebook post:

I want to thank everyone. I was overwhelmed by the comments and support from EVERYONE! You are all a blessing in my life. Does the power of prayer work? Today I recieved a call from the Police Commission telling me that I am a finalist for the Chief's position. Initially they were going to be given 4 names but asked for 6. So I am in the final 6. Again I really appreciate all of you and all of your support.

Incredible!

Never give up, never surrender!

The next thing is a psychological test and a selection by the Police Commission.

I told her the psych test means she is doomed!

I would advise her not to follow my path. Do NOT write a letter to the Psychologist and tell them they are full of crap after your test.

When asked, tell her to disavow any knowledge of knowing or associating with squirrels....

I think she should embrace her inner squirreliness. She should campaign on the platform of a squirrel for every pothead.

Should I point out yet again, there are no squirrels in Hawaii!

Hey, maybe Sprots should move there! It is a bit warmer too!

I am very proud of Swampy T. I know she is learning new things at every step of the process, too.

Like her sister, she's a good 'un!

Fantastic news!

Is there a timeline, or does everything progress whenever the committee is ready?

Thanks, Christie -- I think I'll stick with Colorado. Not that the no-squirrel inducement isn't very powerful, I hasten to add . . .
