Proactive good luck to Pea

#1 Post by Bob78164 » Sun Nov 07, 2010 1:01 am

No mere wall can stop our Pea. Enjoy! And if someone could post a link we can use to follow her progress, I'm sure that will be appreciated. --Bob

Thanks. That Web site doesn't appear to be responsive -- I guess they don't have enough bandwidth to handle the interest. --Bob

Chilean miner Edison Pena finished in 5:40:51. Apparently Pea's training methods were more effective than being trapped in a mine.

Congrats, Pea!

Here she is at about mile 12. Still looking strong. I don't know how she does it in those shoes.

I have a photo of her from behind at about mile 23! Will try to post it later.

My friend Liz and I walked from the Marriott Marquis at 46th & Broadway to 96th & 1st to see her. I probably won't be able to move tomorrow!

Weather couldn"t have been more perfect.

She must've been so fast that you missed her approach...

It was more than 50 blocks actually. I'm serious, I probably won't be able to move
tomorrow. It's true, though. We walked from the hotel to our assigned spot to
see Peacock.
