#1 Post by T_Bone0806 » Wed Nov 24, 2010 9:33 pm

My attendance here has been rather sporadic as of late..lots of reasons for that, nothing TOO heavy, but nothing worth getting into at this point..rest assured you guys are never too far from my thoughts. Hope everyone has a great day tomorrow! We'll have a houseful, so it'll be rockin for sure..

Happy Thanksgiving, Everybody!

I'm thankful for just about everything except horrible phonied-up avatars, especially about wishbones when what I really wish is that certain mangy rodents will go to Hawaii and stay there.

Now would be good.

I'm thankful for the fact that my third niece, Sarah, was born this morning and is happy and healthy.

And I'm thankful that the library is closed today so I'm free to celebrate.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of the Bored Buddies and their families.

I am thankful for good friends, especially in what has been not the easiest year.

I am thankful for wonderful family members. Funny and patient people they are. And brand-new baby cousins Hunter and Lucia, beautiful and healthy -- two months old and one week old, respectively.

Have a safe and blessed holiday, all.

And Happy Thursday to our friends up north.

Happy Thanksgiving to all from cold and snowy Seattle (well, actually a suburb). --Bob

I am thankful WWTBAM finally took a chance on me this year. I'm thankful for all the moral support here. I'm thankful for the nice dinner I just had with my family.

And especially thankful for watching the Pats spank the Lions.

I'm thankful for turkey sandwiches available at the grocery around the corner. Still counts as Thanksgiving dinner despite my parents cancelling...

Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

--squirrelmama (10/3/07)

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

I'm having my very favorite part of Thanksgiving -- eating cold pumpkin pie for breakfast and lunch the next day. I'm always too full, too tired, and too distracted to enjoy the pie on T-day. I hope all of you had as good a day yesterday as I'm having today.
