But why couldn't you get a pink bandage, like Skylah did?

So what color nail polish goes with that humongous bandage? :)

I did get that pedicure today and I went with Ca Ching Cherry. If I didn't have such ugly feet,
I'd post a photo for you. :)

You have beautiful feet, but you don't have to post the photo.

My favorite color was Opi's Hay in Santa Fe, and they discontinued it. :(

Yes! I liked that color too! I have used OPI's Cosmo-Not Tonight Honey from their Russian collection.
It's not the same, but in the same family.

Get well soon. I had a torn miniscus fixed in the summer of 10. Be sure and do your rehab exercises. I still put the little ice water circulator on my knee if it gets to hurting.
Hope you get a chance to go dancing in the not too distant future. BTW- I am watching the encore version of Auburn/MSU on CSS as I type this. I think it is as much fun as it was Saturday.

Uh, I think you interpreted that incorrectly.

In other news, I got the bandage and now just have two small bandaids. A bit of swelling around my ankle, but to be expected. It feels so much better without that bandage! Good news is torn meniscus is fixed, bad news is there is osteoarthritis in a couple of areas of the knee. We'll deal with that when we have to and hope for now I will be pain free.

So the actual surgery site seems to be healing nicely. Just two little incisions on the knee cap.
However, I did notice about an inch and half long red spot just after the bandage was removed.
Friday night the red spot starting looking blistery. Not really itching, but just bothersome.

Yesterday, my leg was just aching all day. Still have the red blistery spot, so I'm just about 100%
sure I have a touch of shingles!!!!!!!! Not good! There's a doctor down the street open on Sundays from 1 to 6, so I may be paying them a visit to get a prescription for Valtrex.

I didn't sleep all that well last night and woke up at 5AM with a killer headache. By 9AM, I had
already taken two prescription migraine pills. It could be a long day....

Whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine.....

Is the incision behind your knee? My neighbor had knee surgery and ended up with a big cut/blister all behind the knee. The doctor said that happens sometimes and said it had to do with the blood thinners he had taken weeks before surgery. To me, not a doctor nor a lawyer(though I can almost assist bored members with cases in Michigan), it looked like the knee was held in place with a band and it was too tight. He got a cream to put on it, but he said it hurt and made the knee stiff. JMHO.

All I have is two little quarter inch incisions on the knee cap as it was arthoscopic surgery. I see two new blisters coming up in different areas of my leg, so I'm thinking it must be shingles. Will try to get into the doctor before they close at 4PM today.
