I read Disclosure a billionty years ago and I remember liking it. Never saw the movie.

Still plowing through I Want My MTV--it's long and there's no plot, so it's easy to keep putting down after each chapter, but an interesting read for me. I'm the correct demographic!

I try to read in my writing genre (middle grade) every third book, or so. This one was well-written, but a little quiet for my typical tastes. It's way too much like homework.

I'm a childrens' book writer but not much of a childrens' book reader.

Currently re-reading Dizzy Miss Lizzie in its official incarnation. It's WAY cool in an actual published form. It has, like, little asterisks and shit between sections! Awesome.

Also, on my Nook-Bubba and the Dead Woman. One of those cheapies you can download for a buck. It has some typographic anomalies, to be kind, but the writing and story are quite entertaining. I was surprised.

I also downloaded The Decameron per Wintergreen's suggestion in a previous thread. Well. Hmmm. I might have to issue a sternly-worded letter to someone, somewhere. It's a bit pithy to get into language-wise. But, I'll persevere.

Today I received: Wonder by R.J. Palacio about a boy with a facial deformity attempting to enter mainstream school in the fifth grade and Tempest a debut by Julie Cross that is another of those teen/time travel romance stories.

That's exactly how I read it. I really enjoyed it, and it was the perfect length.

Yesterday morning I finished "One For The Money." I enjoyed it. That series reminds me of the Fletch books.

I enjoyed this one. The sequel, The Magician King, is even better. Like, lots better.
