Amazon is now sold out!

Simple: show up at my book launch on March 7th!

Since that will be a problem for, well, every one here, the only other way to get one is to buy it and ship it to me w/return postage. I did this for one BB, but you have to decide if it's worth another $5 for my scrawl (I don't mind, of course). PM me if you want to go this route.

I've heard of other authors offering signed bookmarks or other swag to send out in lieu of signed copies. I'm thinking of offering signed title pages. It's a smaller version of the title page that can fit in a standard envelope. And it ain't $5 (I'd send it for free if anyone really wants one). I'm still working on this.

As for Amazon, the publisher has sent another batch to them.

This avatar is correct in many aspects -- mangy rodent avoidance, MBRS checking out even though present, etc. ...

It has too much of one particular mangy rodent in it, though. It will not win.

That's probably true. LB totally messed up the 2011 Countdown.

If a man says something in the middle of the forest with no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?

If he's taking a dump without toilet paper, yes. Yes he is.
Well, then

We only do it to the people we like!

Okay, and to make political threads palatable.

And whenever else we feel like it.

But it keeps your thread active and at the top of the page, sorta like the ads you can buy on Google...
Knowing a great deal is not the same as being smart; intelligence is not information alone but also judgment, the manner in which information is collected and used.
