Blockbuster Online just royally pissed me off

#1 Post by TheCalvinator24 » Tue May 06, 2008 9:38 pm

I got Apocalypse Now. I have never seen it.

Only, they only sent me Disc 1 of a Two Disc set. When I added it to my queue, I don't remember anything saying it was to discs.

Argh!

Sometimes with the multi-disc sets the entire movie is included on only one DVD, while the other discs are supplemental material.

Although I don't want to immediately defend Blockbuster, you should check to see whether you will be able to see the whole movie first. Maybe you didn't want to see the 10 hour "making of" documentary, etc.

If they only gave you half the movie, them f*** 'em!

They sent me half a movie.

I added Disc 2 to the top of my queue, but now it'll be the weekend before I get to see it.

Are you pissed enough to switch to NetFlix?

No. The in-store exchange plan makes it worth the aggravations.

I can understand that.

They can to.

I had a series Disc 2 and Disc 3 in my queue, Disc 2 ahead. They sent me disc 3 instead of disc 2. I am going to cancel Blockbuster soon. I will try Netflix. I don't like Blockbuster's selection anyway.
