RIP Sandra Day O'Connor

America's first female Supreme Court justice has just passed away at age 93.
"[Drumpf's] name alone creates division and anger, whose words inspire dissension and hatred, and can't possibly 'Make America Great Again.'" --Kobe Bryant (1978-2020)

"In times of crisis, the wise build bridges. The foolish build barriers." --Chadwick Boseman (1976-2020)

I'm deleting my more recent thread on the same subject, but I wanted to port over my comments.

She retired from the Court in 2006 to care for her husband, who had Alzheimer's. (He died in 2009.) Then she revealed in 2018 she was in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's and has died of advanced dementia. I can think of few things more horrible than a brilliant mind gradually losing everything and realizing it for most of that time, as undoubtedly happened with her.

We're even now, since you pipped me at the post about Marty Krofft a few days ago.
