You can either press the spoiler button first, and then type between the ][ characters, or type first, select (highlight) the spoiler text and then press one of the spoiler buttons.
spoiler - gives you the simple black box-style spoiler
spoiler= gives you the drop-down reveal/obscure toggle-type spoiler. This one also allows you to add spoiler text between the = and the ].

You highlight the text you want in the spoiler, then click the spoiler button. That should surround the highlighted text with the spoiler tags.
In addition, there are two different spoiler tags.

Out on Q2 again. This time I just didn't know the answer. But I felt better about the process tonite. I have been really nervous and clumsy about having to rely on a cell phone (but since I no longer use a land line, what can I do?). Tonite it felt more natural and I think I won't be so worried about it from now on. At least not until I fat finger an answer I know cold.

At first I was thrown because
it sounded like Fred said "Fisco," but I thought I remembered a singer whose name was Cisco (tough to look up for this exercise with that spelling!), but I don't really know him very well, so I applied the rule that if you don't recognize a name, it is probably the newest, and that turned out to be right. But who knew k.d. lang was so old? Well, most of you probably do, but I didn't.

The Regency period refers to the time that George IV was Prince Regent during the madness of his dad, George III. This was 1811-1820.
But I never would have gotten to that question; I would have been out on your Q2, because I didn't realize that Missy Elliott was older than Lenny Kravitz. And I also might have put the mercury thermometer before the cotton gin.
