Astrology, in and of itself, is a fair target for a skeptic, but it is a subject that is widely familiar, alas.

If I had been in the Hot Seat and gotten this question (and if my discussion time wasn't limited by TDC) I'd have been tempted to comment on the two absurdities paired in this question.

A. Duck-billed guinea pig

Beast and squirrel in the same question... obvious Bored shoutout.

I was told of this shoutout the night before it aired, but forgot to look for it in the transcripts.....

A toy version of Scrat is perched just to my left atop my computer desk.......

TDC "strikes" again. If she doesn't panic at 2K maybe she saves the ATA and can use it at 8K. That saves the PAF who might have bailed her out at 25K since it was an easy google.

OK, having a PAF who knows how to google seems unlikely in this case but at least her PAF came through for her at 8K.

And as a result the cast member misses out on a shot at 9K more and perhaps a lot more.

No wonder TPTB love the very economical clock...

I learned the following mnemonic on the Bored:

A tense gray cat lays very low, sneaking silently, contemplating a pounce.

Cats don't lay. Hens do.

Where do kitties come from, then?

The stork lays them?
