Moonie's here. You just have to find him. I suggest waiting for sundown. --Bob

I decided that with my debut on a new bored I wanted a new moniker, basically anything that wasn't my real name. I pondered for awhile, then realized that right now I'm at a point in my life where I seem to be constantly in search of things. I'm searching for another game show opportunity, searching (or soon to be searching) for a new job, searching for answers, searching for better ways of living, etc. Thus, the new handle was born.MarleysGh0st wrote:Gosh! And what's the significance of your new screen name? Is it a tag line I should recognize, if I knew what game your avatar came from?
Since the new Legend of Zelda game, Phantom Hourglass, was just released, I chose to use Link (the hero of the game) as my Avatar. For those not familiar with the Legend of Zelda game series, much of the fun of the games is searching for all the various hidden items and solving the puzzles that bar the characters way as he searches to find them.

Here's a puzzle that stumped everyone during the original Zelda game that Marley needs to use for his avatar....

I'm not from Kentuckiana. I'm from Indyucky.earendel wrote:No, only those with taste.MarleysGh0st wrote:Gosh! Are all the BBs from Kentuckiana elves?
[No offense to Nelly, kay, mrkelley, etc.]
Now if we could just get taurus back...maybe TheSearchIsOn can arrange that.
Seriously, I only hear the "Kentuckiana" tag applied to your corner of the state. Down here we tend to call ourselves "the Tri-State area." Us and about a thousand other confluences of three state borders (I know, the math doesn't really fit, but work with me, here.)
Think I"ll go hunting for a new avatar, now. Libra's starting to bore me.

Your kids are beautiful, Mike. So, when did you trade in your babies for these gorgeous big 'uns?

Those are the Irish-dancing chimpanzees from an Arby's commercial. You've got to admit, they have great posture. . .for apes.synergymike wrote:If those are your kids in your avatar, I'm afraid I can't be as complimentary... but if you're in to that sort of thing...
Actually, I've had the same thought about my real kids.

The commercial is for Arby's sub sandwiches, a new product on the menu. Without seeing the commercial (which always makes me laugh,) the Irish connection would be clearer if they'd dressed the chimps in little hard shoes or ghillies, but you know how difficult it is to find dance footwear in size 5-EEEEEEE.MarleysGh0st wrote:Oh. I guess I haven't seen that commercial, otherwise the connection would have been obvious.

Mike! How the hell are ya? Are you still in the area? If so, let's try to do lunch at some point. Not this week, though. I'm currently sitting in a REALLY boring meeting about a half mile from LAX....synergymike wrote:Thanks! they just got big, kinda happened. I tried to contact vails on an email I had from Grand Slam, but it came back.
We HAVE to find him before another season of Amazing Race starts, as I can't stand the thought of missing out on commentary from shallowvails!
