Space Dog

#1 Post by Beebs52 » Fri Nov 09, 2007 8:13 am

The Beebs came through his surgery with flying colors. The morning after (was it good for him?) he acted as if nothing had happened. Other than the fact that his red, heart-bedecked bandage, that covers his entire left leg, is slipping down and he needs to go have it replaced, and that he's on thyroid med, antibiotics, antinflammatory, pain med (dude! Did you see THAT?! whoa) and wearing the ever so fashionable space collar, he's great. I'm impressed with the new collars for big dogs. They're not huge anymore.

So, once we get the drain sticking out of his haunch to stop draining hither and thither...I know, nice visual for the home decorators among you, we'll have a refurbished, good as new Space Dog! of the 21st Century.
Well, then

Minimal cheezburgrs. He also has pancreatitis, and if we don't get that under control, his leg will be but a hangnail on the fingertip of, um, history. Like that.

Glad The Real Beebs is doing well.

Sheesh! It's really getting personal today!

Oh, were you talking to the horse?

My bad.

Your gaping mawlike hole is also quite enchanting.

I must apologize for my dog's "uncertain" behavior above. He's not used to pain medicine and greatly misses his cheezbrgrs.

While highly inappropriate behavior for such an august board, it is also indicative of a quickly healing, though whacked, doggie. Or maybe his keeper is whack. I dunno. His bandage is gone after two days! The doc was so impressed with how he's doing that he removed it and left it off. Huzzah for the Beebs. Still has the ever so lovely collar, though.

No cheezbrgrs still.
Well, then

He is. This avatar is he/it two days ago. I'll have to take another pic of him with his mohawk body and bandageless leg.
