It sounds so high hat to report this...

#1 Post by nitrah55 » Fri Nov 09, 2007 9:27 am

...but the Bride and I are going to England for the weekend.

American Airlines just started JFK-Stansted service. We got the tickets on points, and we're staying with friends north of London in Hertfordshire (how do you pronounce that?)

Leaving tonight (Friday), back Tuesday afternoon.

Back Wednesday with the bangers-and-mash report.
I am about 25% sure of this.

Harris. :P

They were gonna do something like that here, but the interest wasn't there. Unfortunately, that was when the wait for a passport was like a wait for Green Bay Packers season tickets....

Good on ya!

With the exchange rate of Sterling to US$ at 1:2, it'll still be an expensive, but utterly great getaway.

When I think of high hat, I think of this:

Which also mostly fits nitrah, if you think about it....

This is the nicest thing anyone's said about me in a long time. I wish I could have this sound effect following me around.

Oh, and as you may have surmised, my mom's condition is improved to the point that my big sister threatened me with mayhem if I didn't go on this trip.

She came from the same factory as Lucy Van Pelt.
I am about 25% sure of this.

Dang, are we long lost brothers?

Or does everyone have a big sister like this?

Maybe we should check out Pea and Bix's little brothers, and form a club. We could call it "The Club."

Don't you need a personal assistant or two, Mr. Nitrah?
Well, then
