Jay Rosenberg frogman042
Austin, TX
Software Consultant

In the companion seats, Jay has his wife Leslie, youngest son Jason and youngest daughter Sophie.
Jay has ten children, ages twenty-seven to nine.

They display a picture of the kids, the one Jay uses as his avatar here.

Meredith says that Jay’s first test will be to name all ten kids in descending order.
Jay: Will this bring me up to ten questions?
Meredith: No.

Jay names all ten.

Frogman, you were certainly fun to watch!

No offense intended to Mr. Juch, but you probably made the right selection for which PAF to call based solely on their apparent ages. Bob might have known it, and certainly could have readily googled it, but playing the age/odds probably made sense.

I knew it. I wouldn't have been able to name a track from it either though.

My apparent age is 25. :P

Great HS run so far Jay!

I liked this question since my only sister is named Elizabeth and I noticed the story of Elizabeth cracking the top ten last year. Gotta rack the tape back, but I didn't hear any Elizabeth in that list of names at the top of the segment! :)

I certainly will catch the rest tomorrow. I'd better do so since I'm the Tuesday transcriber!

That could have been a real tough question, but given the choices, only Elizabeth sounded like it could be in the current top 10.

Not exactly like this. Close enough.

The way that Meredith pronounced "dually" was different than any way I've ever heard it pronounced. Maybe it is said differently on the east coast. I've only heard it pronounced like, "Dooley." The way she said it doesn't change anything though. :)

AWESOME to see you in the hotseat Sir Frogman! You have such a beautiful family too. I liked the outfit your wife was wearing. You seemed so at ease, and it seemed to me that Meredith really liked you. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's show.

Great start, Jay! I'm glad TPTB allowed Jason and Sophie to watch you from the audience, despite that "over 18" rule.

Jay names all ten.
Good comeback, Jay! Meredith says all the time that contestants are just fifteen questions away.

Sweet stack! Even the pop culture clue was in the wheelhouse for your PAF.

The 8K Q, especially with the clock, could be tough but Elizabeth, kind of a timeless name after all, seemed the best choice. The other three all sounded like they might have been popular in the past but not so much anymore. Apparently the audience agreed. Nice to get a clear cut ATA. At lest if you had gotten dursted it would have been on a big number!

There's the evil recent movies category again. Canadian cuisine is an interesting category. My first impression of that subject is "Is there any Canadian cuisine outside of poutine?" (Man, would I ever be surprised on the next episode.) Metric system looks like a good $250K question for me... but that depends on whether I can clear the $100K authors question.
