Alex describes himself as a "baby catcher" because when he says he's a gynecologist he gets strange looks. When he says he's a "baby catcher" it reminds them - and him - of the joy of bringing new life into the world and helping families. Meredith asks if he's every dropped one. He hasn't.

Alex is in debt because of medical school so he needs to win a lot. His mother Liz is in the relationship seat; she was instrumental in his becoming a doctor. She is a nurse and told stories of her days at work. Alex spent a summer in Paraguay immunizing children and saw a C-section and from that point he knew he wanted to be a doctor. Alex's brother Jude is in the audience also; Meredith was making thumbs-up gestures and Jude was pointing to his head and making circles. Meredith says Alex may be crazy - crazy like a fox.

OK so far. Of the next several categories, "American Idol" might call for me to ATA-I don't wach it. "Elections" might be interesting. "Opera" might pose problems-although it comes up on J! a lot (and is featured on their contestant tests!)
I'm just a game show nerd.

Looks like I'll need the audience for "Idol". Opera is going to be impossible for me.

$2K: Never heard of that line. Looks like I'll have to use ATA here. I could be in deep trouble once the "Idol" question comes up.

No problems so far, but seeing that Opera category sitting at $500K would give me conniptions. Foreign Films and American Idol aren't too comfy, either.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.
