Joseph Anderson
New York City, New York
Hospital outreach coordinator

Joseph is a recent New Yorker; he grew up in a homeless shelter in North Carolina. Meredith says he must have learned a lot about life. Joseph now works with a local hospital doing education and outreach, trying to help kinds who are in the same situation he was in. Meredith asks where he got his positive outlook from. His parents taught him to be very hopeful. Whenever they were going through tough times as a kid, they were always as positive as one would think is possible, or even more so. Joseph's parents are in the audience.

He's only a recent WE®. And thanks to whoever posted the questions, since the transcriptionist's recording was interrupted by "breaking news."

Obviously not a hard Q but I was totally unfamiliar with "Miss Mary Mack" rhyme. Must have missed it last time as well.
