I've never heard of either Pinkberry or Red Mango (we don't have either of those stores here) but could figure out what the answer was based on the names. Now if "smoothies" had been a distractor I might have needed either ATA or Double Dip.
I'm just a game show nerd.

I too hadn't heard of either chain. I will assume they are common in the northeast, but where else? West coast? Deep south? Upper midwest? Mountain states? Texas (being a world unto itself)?

Who came up with making itch the B option? Subliminal dig at the host, perhaps?

According to my googling, Pinkberry stores are only in southern California and NYC, although I don't remember seeing in NYC. There are plenty there though.

Red Mango is more wide spread with stores in California, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, NJ, NY, Oregon, Utah and Washington.

Never heard of either one of them

No clue what The Blitz, Me Me Me, Wheels Up, and Whiteout could mean. And I see that the $250,000 Billy Crystal question has returned.

$8K: Never heard of Pinkberry or Red Mango. I will also ATA.

$16K: Definitely a PAF question for me.

I am in the same position as Cristy for tomorrow's show.

River City has neither of these franchises. Given the names "B" seems to make the most sense but it could also be "A". So time to ATA.

Could puzzle out the Pinkberry/Red Mango question from the choices. No problemo with the others. Looking at $25K with all lifelines intact.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

I was pleasantly surprised that the question really was about The Blitz, and that it wasn't a cutesy topic name for something completely different.

I couldn't recall hearing about Pinkberry or Red Mango, so even though the answered seemed pretty logical, I might have burned the ATA there.

The only time I heard of Pinkberry was an American Express commercial

Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

I was going to mention the Amex commercial, but Pinkberry is ubiquitous here on the leftcoast and quite delicious I might add.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.
