The fact that they've capitalized "House" says to me that it's not about the common expression or any generic house. The TV show, possibly. Or the White House? The House of Representatives? The House of the Seven Gables? Odds are we'll never find out.

Sweet Caroline is used in many, many sports stadiums around the country. It's hardly restricted to Red Sox Nation. For example, nearly every New York Jets games features it prominently late in the 3rd quarter.
