Steve Carpenato
Long Beach, NY
Guidance counselor

Steve works with 7th through 12th graders. He keeps the notes of kids who have written to him to thank him for his help - whenever Steve is having a bad day he reads one and it puts a smile on his face. Steve is also working part-time as a waiter because his wife Tara is staying at home to take care of their 9-month old baby, Candace. Steve calls her his little princess. Candace was the name of his wife's first Cabbage Patch Kid.

Lots of vague categories between stamps and paintings.

In the classic version, yes. But Mr. Plum is not a professor anymore. He's now a video game designer.

$8K: I haven't bought stamps lately, so I can't remember if they went up to 42 cents or 43 cents. I'll ask the audience.

This question (or a variation thereof) has come up several times on BAM. Unfortunately I don't mail too many letters, so it's time to ATA and hope for a good result.

Most of the teachers this week were WE®s, probably because of the tape dates. They chose people who were close (or maybe there was a teacher in-service day in the NYC school system).

And we know that's perfectly proportional to the percentage of the population that lives in the NYC area.

You need to enter sweepstakes like Timsterino and me. We bemoan each increase as cutting into our profits. :)
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.
