Robin: I don’t think he would say he had very little brains. Does Leslie have children?

Are you prone to any certain one?

Leslie: I thought it was either “A” or “B.” Since we both think it may be ambition, maybe that’s it. I know he’s lazy.

Robin: You know what? Go with patience.

Meredith restarts the clock.

Leslie makes A. Patience her final answer before time expires.

MBFFB would love this lady.  I was screaming at the TV a lot during her appearance!First, the $200 question-has she never heard of U2?

When the Winnie the Pooh question came up, I knew the answer right away. She should have saved at least 1 of her lifelines for this (I bet ATA would have been helpful!) I wonder if she never read the books or saw any of the movies when she was a kid.

This was a sontestant of very little brain!
I'm just a game show nerd.

Leslie, if you want vindication, go on "Wheel of Fortune". :|

This question required a lifeline?! Leslie, you are a total airhead... as are the 25% of the audience who picked A.

$2K: NAFC®. Ask the audience.

Robin, you are a total airhead, too... just like the "Entertainment Weekly" trio we saw a couple of weeks ago.

God, I wish MBFFB® would come out of reclusion...

I knew nothing good could come from this.

I am playing along this week with special interest. I start off by hating this contestant, for no good reason just jealousy that she is pretty and in the hot seat instead of me. The WSOPC thing even annoys me. Then she uses a lifeline on a $200 pop culture question. I'm rocking on until the $8K question, I don't know this one. I'm leaning towards ambition, I would have used the ATA and if they let me down, I'm done at 8K,
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

And I wonder if Meredith was silently agreeing. This was not a good performance, and certainly no vindication of anything except that first host's comment.

I would have felt very good about my chances when I saw the "Pooh Bear" category. My favorite children's book series. I had some great voices when I read them for BD (hard to use ASL in a different tone for HS). How old was this woman and the Expert? Didn't they ever watch the Disney cartoons?
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Hmmm...this has "disaster" written all over it.

OK, this is a pop culture question, which is not Leslie's strong suit. But using a lifeline at $200 doesn't bode well for later.

I used to work in a women's shoe store. Anne Klein espadrilles were always a popular style.

Maybe it's the pressure of the clock, but surely the choices of "bamboo" and "koi" would make the answer more obvious.

First off, it sounded as if Leslie's PAF was in a room with other people, trying to read the question and answers. Either that or the PAF was relaying the question to someone to Google. In either case not the optimum setup. Since Leslie's already used her ATA and DD, all she has left is ATE. This doesn't look like a good one for a newsperson. As for me, I thought it was either "B" or "D", so would go with DD.

I'm not sure Leslie acquitted herself well. BTW, anyone know the game show she was on?

We believe that it was "World Series of Pop Culture".
