I think MBFFB® just blew another artery. I don't think Louie uses the Internets; otherwise, he would've seen all the lovely spam, wonderful spam he could sink his teeth into.

And now, because of TPTB's newfound fear of royalty payments, I'll be seen moving my lips with no sound when I sing that. :x

Now they are starting to annoy me. There's a Louie in the Hot Seat with an easy stack and what does he do with it?
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Is "spam" really an Internet term? I've always heard it with regard to e-mail, and apparently it's also used in MMORPGs (my sons talk about "spamming" within World of Warcraft).
