A few miles south of East Brunswick. She's right between NYC and Philly, so she's not quite a WE.

$2K: No clue. ATA and hope that they don't durst me.

$8K: I knew this one immediately, but not cuz I saw the episode. Stephanie Miller mentioned this a couple of weeks ago on her radio show when she accidentally confused Moldavia and Moldova.

Part of the WE® area?

ATA: A: 61% B: 11% C: 10% D: 18%
After the audience's dire showing on the previous contestant's ATA, I wondered if Coryna might have been a little hesitant, even though the percentage was much stronger for her.

Chanted, more accurately.

I guess they can't very well rehearse the audience.

OK, I know it's not C or D, but if the 50/50 leaves A and B I'd still have to go for another lifeline. I wouldn't have thought about it being B because the Keatons were children of the 60s, so it doesn't seem right, somehow, that "their song" would be an 80s tune. So it's time to PAF.

And unfortunately for me, I'd need that PAF back for this question. Oh, well, might as well try ATA and hope for the best.

I would judge this among the toughest stacks of the week.

Spotswood is still in the WABC viewing area, so she gets her Where Else credentials from me.

Theme isn't for the parents, but for Alex and his first girlfriend, played by the woman who became Michael Fox's real-life wife. I don[t recall it as a theme for them, but I do remember it being played during their breakup episode (they were dancing to it). Again, not exactly a lower-level question.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Tracy Pollian (sp?) is her name. She also played Michael's girlfriend when he was on "Spin City" as the deputy mayor of NYC. She was a reporter, IIRC.

Wow, she burned 2 lifelines on this question. I remember seeing the episode of Family Ties in 1985 where they played this song, and the song became number 1 on Billboard in 1987 because of the overwhelming response from Family Ties viewers.

I believe that Carla Gugino played the reporter girlfriend.

Tracy Pollan played Fox's old high school girlfriemd on an episode of Spin City, where they had promised to meet on top of the Empire State Building. (When he tries to set up another meeting for the future, she asks what date, because she also has to meet her old college boyfriend on top of the Chrysler Building.)

The Billy Vera song was such a pop culture event (Top 10 song) that it really does not seem undervalued to me.
