Jeff Spicoli
That's pretty specific for a category.
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

I hope we get to see what the Cadillac question is. I'm dying to find out if it's Anderson, Williams or de Ville.

I put my thoughts in the sticky post. I just KNOW I'm going to forget this tomorrow!

What's the number of General Lee in "Dukes of Hazard"?

I missed this (see other thread).

So far, so good. Our local high school (Kalamazoo Central) usually has a team in the state mock trial championships. They've gone to nationals several times.
I'm just a game show nerd.

Great start, Meisha! Looking forward to the grand finale on Tuesday. Because M/T is my "weekend", I'll get to see the show "live" instead of late at night.

One of my student PAF group members is on mock trial at one of the high schools where I work. When I hang out after hours reading the Bored on Thursday night, mock trial is practicing. This past Thursday we played a few games of online Millionaire while they waited for their coach. We got to the $1M question but blew it. We were not "cheating" using Google even after using up our lifelines so that was pretty good. One of the members has completed the Millionaire game we have going and has a 100%. Of course they were allowed any resources available to them to come up with the answers. Hopefully, more will take the time in the next couple of weeks.

Two games will prevent the next WWTBAM from airing in LA until Thursday.

The semi good news is that when they pre empt the show for sports, when they get back to airing the show they usually (no guarantee) pick it up still in chronological order, then end up sticking the remainders in sometime during the weekend. So if my theory is correct, your 2nd show should actually end up airing here on Thursday, if she can wait that long without busting a vein... I know I'd melt down if it was my sister! lol.

Or....maybe someone tech-savvy could record it tomorrow and post it here with a link, like Chad did with his Trivial Pursuit episode... (Chad, calling Chad-- are you out there?)

On Sunday KCAL-9 is set to air 2 make-up episodes from this week, so we should be seeing Brianne's second show on Thursday.

I'd be disappointed if that's the case, but I know the question writers like being tricksy with their topic labels.

If you're right, Wikipedia says the answer to your question is "01". :)

I didn't see the movie, so I'm definitely gonna be using a lifeline on Jeff Spicoli. Not an Elvis fan, so that could be another use of lifelines. Apparently, anything past Cadillac looks scary to me.

I still prefer the answer that I posted on the Bored a couple of weeks ago: "elected to Congress". :P
