ES's Art Blog - Day # Whatever

Here comes the bride's father....

Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

LB may be sleeping. The noive!

But I know the answer to your question. It's "I [heart] a good audit," like the button given to gsabc by Sunflower.

I love this picture, especially the way that BD looks like her daddy.

Why is ES wearing a skirt on his head?
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

To hide his dickey.
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Guess GS took the day off from the bored. He'll catch it tomorrow.
I love the detail - the PODS reference as well as the wall hanging in the background.
Good work, ES!

This is wonderful! My expression is pretty much how I felt by the end of the reception. I had thought the photographer had taken my picture at that point, but it wasn't in the set. Having it here instead is just as good. Thank you, ES!

Yes, I had pretty much taken the day off from the Bored yesterday. Too much home repair and other work in and around the house going on. Sore shoulder from sanding, sore knees from crawling around on the joists in our attic, sore legs from going up and down ladders - rough Monday, made much more pleasant by this picture.

I thought a squirrel's dickey was lower down on his body ...
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.
