I'm a little iffy on anything after Recent TV.

There was a potential for a second consecutive audience dursting here, but thankfully, Ruth was suspicious of Emmy being even remotely possible.

$25K: It's either Israel or the UK. I'm definitely asking Jeff. He lived in England. He won £64,000 on UK BAM. He would know if it is or isn't England.

$50K: No clue. PAF.

$100K: I would've Double Dipped on Gulf of Mexico and Mediterranean Sea. I could never imagine the Sahara being the size of the U.S.

I've never heard that term before. Interesting.

Once again demonstrating that this is no longer a game show, but a talk show that happens to give away money.

Good thing she chose not to go with the audience's answer. How often is the audience wrong twice in one show? I'm also surprised that a NYC audience would miss this. Oscars are for movies, Tonys are for theater, Emmys are for TV. It's doubtful that Obama has made it big in any of these areas (although in some states he was practically ubiquitous on TV), leaving only Grammys as the logical choice. Hillary Clinton won a Grammy, too, IIRC, for reading her book.

Never heard of it, but Google PAF should be able to come up with it quickly.

She was willing to gamble, which I respect, but didn't think through the answers. The Sahara is as wide as the Mediterranean, which is larger than either Mongolia or the Gulf of Mexico. So her DD answers should have been A and B and she'd still be in the HS.

My thoughts exactly. Five and a half years have passed since the last millionaire (Nancy Christy), and almost no one wins more than $50K now. What happened to the days when people won big on a regular basis?
