Drew
What's your opinon of Drew Carey on The Price Is Right, I've only saw a little bit of it admittatley but it looks like he is doing pretty well. I don't think I'll ever get used to seeing him there rather than Bob Barker. I originally thought that John O'Hurley or Maury Povich should of replaced Barker but it looks like they made the right decision. Someone on another fourm said that because of the nature of the show, Drew Carey being a comedian really can't use any jokes and be natural about it.

Shade hasn't learned that that's a mandatory choice in every Bored poll!PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:WGAS.
I haven't seen Drew on TPIR, yet, so I can't say. I liked him when he was a contestant on Celebrity WWTBAM, so he still gets some lingering respect from me. On Power of 10, he's...okay. That show is structured so differently (with prompting by host and audience an encouraged part of the experience) that it's hard to compare to a conventional quiz show.

WGAS = Who Gives A Sh*tShade wrote:I'm sorry I'm not familar with that acroynm
This is one of those Bored quirks that has a long history here, Shade. If someone doesn't include some version of this choice, others will complain!
And it's not just a snide way of saying "No Opinion". We can't see the results of the poll unless we vote in it; sometimes people just want to see those results without casting a meaningful vote. So they can vote WGAS.
To further delve into Bored History, it was discovered, after this had been our practice for a time, that WGAS is the callsign for a radio station, a religious station in Gastonia, NC, to be precise. Because of this, when we want to assign a virtual location for our cybercommunity, we'll often say that we're in Gastonia. And the full phrasing of that poll choice will be some play on "WGAS in Gastonia"
For example, in this case, you might say "WGAS in Gastonia doesn't broadcast TPIR".

That's not true on here. There's a link directly beneath the Vote button to "View Results" so you can see what others have voted without voting yourself.MarleysGh0st wrote:And it's not just a snide way of saying "No Opinion". Not that it's a good reason to break a Bored Tradition, though.
