Hey movie peoples

#1 Post by Bixby17 » Fri Nov 30, 2007 5:02 pm

Any great movies out? Got a sitter this weekend and movie is an option.

Already seen No Country for Old Men and The Darjeeling Limited.

The husband is really fussy about movies. They have to be awesome to be worth his time. He starts looking at his watch if he doesn't like a movie.

I used to work at a movie theater so I used to see everything and like it.

Suggestions?

Haven't see it yet, but I hear that Before the Devil Knows You're Dead is great. Also, I'm Not There and The Diving Bell and the Butterfly are getting very good reviews.
Enjoy every sandwich

Complete Map of the Universe looks very interesting, especially for us game show geeks.

We all enjoyed Enchanted. We also saw Beowulf and Across the Universe this week. Enchanted, IMHO, was the best of the three movies.

Before the Devil Knows You're Dead is an excellent film. Sidney Lumet and Marisa Tomei are locks for Oscar nominations, and Phillip Hoffman may, depending upon which of his films this year the studios decide to push (he has three posibilities).

We saw August Rush last night. My wife loved it (there's one soundtrack I've got to get her for a Christmas present); I thought it a bit sentimental but a good easy-night-out film.

Enchanted works well for young and old.
