Pontoon boats? Why?

All three for me.

It had something to do with Cap's opposition to the Metahuman Registration Act, a theme that ran through all the Marvel titles earlier this year.

Wow, learn something new every day! Or perhaps unlearn something old and incorrect...

I would have said Olduvai gorge was in Kenya in a heart beat. I knew it was close to the border with Tanzania but obviously didn't know which side of the border it was on. Have even been to the region but not to the gorge itself, in the part of the plains on the Kenyan side known as the Masai Mara.

When Christine read the question to Alan, she left out the "Olduvai Gorge" part, which could have been the critical phrase, particularly if he was googling.

And, yeah, having both Kenya and Tanzania up there made the question nasty for me, too. I knew it was one or the other...

So...Olduvai Gorge is in Tanzania. The Serengeti is in Tanzania. Kilimanjaro is in Tanzania. What's in Kenya that we should remember?

To spend the money on, of course!

A pontoon boat makes a good fishing boat, a good swimming platform and a good, general party boat. Maybe not so good if you want to go water skiing.

The Leakeys are most closely associated with Kenya, even becoming involved in politics there. Kilimanjaro is indeed in Tanzania although the northern slopes extend into Kenya as it is also very close to the border. Mt Kenya is almost right on the equator which always reminds me of the Clarke novel "The Fountains of Paradise" about an elevator to space although it was set on a fictional island that closely resembled his home of Sri Lanka.

Perhaps the most notable archeological site in Kenya (since it isn't Olduvai Gorge!) would have to be Lake Turkana, formerly Lake Rudolf, where a number of skulls/skeletons have been found by the Leakeys and others.
