Barbara is a PTA president. She has two sons, Jeff, who's 12 and in the 7th grade, and Matt, who's 8 and in the third grade. They're excited about her appearance on Millionaire and have been telling all their friends, so Barbara feels a little pressure. They know exactly what they want if mom wins - a video game system. Mamma needs a new car and would love to set up a college fund for the boys. This could be a life-changing thing. Husband Jeff and Mom Dee are in the relationship seats. Barbara has all of her lifelines including Ask the Expert. Ogi Ogas finishes up the week as the expert.

Ogi's help
Ogi says that literature is solid ground. Ogi gets the question, then asks Barbara if she knows Shakespeare. Barbara says she does, and thinks the answer is Horatio but going for $25,000 she wants to be certain. Ogi says he think's that's right - it's definitely not Laertes or Claudius and he has no idea who Reynaldo is. He quotes the line: "Alas, poor Yorick, Horatio and Barbara adds, "...I knew him well."

When Paul finds out Barbara's going for $50K he says, "I wish you hadn't told me, now I'm nervous." Barbara reads the question and the four choices, then repeats the question. She knows it's to help with surface area. Just as the timer runs out Paul says, "I don't see anything, Barbara; I would say..."
(transcriptionist's note - it sounded as if Paul tried to say

My (theoretical) Science PAF would have known this. She makes her own wine. Very good friend to have.

Good stack for me, too. Probably would have verified my thoughts on the Ronson occupation with an ATA, but all the other LLs would be intact going forward.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Good to see that the SynBAM writers are stealing my questions again. :P

$25K: I have it between Laertes and Horatio, but I need to Double Dip to secure the guaranteed money.

This looks like a WWOQ®. Try the PAF and see if this is Googleable.

"Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio. A fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy."

This, by the way, as you can see from the expanded quote above, is the source of the title of the late, great David Foster Wallace's magnum opus. If that hasn't been a question before (it does sound familiarish to me), given Mr. Wallace's death I predict it will be sometime this season.
There is something wrong in a government where they who do the most have the least. There is something wrong when honesty wears a rag, and rascality a robe; when the loving, the tender, eat a crust while the infamous sit at banquets.
-- Robert G. Ingersoll

I was sure it was DJ before the answers were revealed, then when I saw "rock bassist" I had to stop and think.

I attribute this to the clock more than anything else.

Yes, this is one of the most often misquoted lines that I know of.

I'm not sure where I learned this. Evidently Paul was attempting to Google (or do some other search) but couldn't pull it out in time.

I'd be going for $100K with all my lifelines still in play.
