$8K: I wasn't able to associate botulism with any of those four foods. I'll have to ATA.

And a shout-out to a new ABC show.

Why? Just because this week's contestants have been throwing him softball questions?

Well, I didn't know who Diablo Cody was, so that elevates Joel somewhat. As for the level of questions, granted they are easier than those given to Hermillion, Lyn Payne, Ogi or others, but by the same token, we've seen other "experts" crash and burn even on such softball questions. So I'm giving Joel credit for doing a better job this time around than last time. No, he can't hold a candle to our BB experts, but at least he's doing some good.

I didn't know Diablo Cody, either. But if the experts haven't already established themselves by being a big winner on the show, I think they should at least have to establish their credentials by passing the written test, first. Because anyone who passes that test could have done what Joel did this week.

That was a pop culture question perfectly suited to the ATA. Easy, if you're a fan of the show; impossible, otherwise.

But the contestants all passed the test and couldn't answer the questions that Joel did.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

Well, yeah...

But what would make a celebrity who hasn't passed that test any better qualified?
