Well, in fairness to Nelly (and in my own defense), the use of "so far" is to indicate that the contestant isn't through yet, so there may be things that "hinder" later in the stack.

But my point is that this should be intuitively obvious in every carryover stack.

In fact, since we haven't seen a $1 million question in--what, a year or two?--that's true for every stack!
