Colorado woman tapes dog to fridge

#1 Post by Bob Juch » Fri Apr 17, 2009 11:58 am

Police say a Colorado woman wrapped her boyfriend's dog in packing tape and stuck the animal upside down to a refrigerator because he wouldn't get rid of it.

Uck! This was on the news the other night and I had to turn away.

(But the dog will be okay and I'm sure there will be throes of people wanting to adopt him and shower him with all the love imaginable.)

I just looked at the link Bob posted and it doesn't say so (and it's hard to tell from the pic) but the dog is just a little puppy, 8 months old.

And it wasn't nearly as graphic in description as they had on the news. He was in a lot of pain when the police got there.

Can the judge order her to be taped to a fridge upside down?

Please?

Grrrrrrrrr.

This is a very not nice thing to do to a dog, unless it's to my sister Lizbit when she really, really deserves it. Sadly, that would turn out to be a very not nice thing to do to a refrigerator that I like veryveryvery much.

I have a lot of duct tape! And we could always tape her to LB's icebox if you don't want to ruin yours....
Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

--squirrelmama (10/3/07)

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

My first thought was - uh-oh, ES tried to get to Sprots by arriving incognito and she found him out.

There are certain squirrels a person could make an exception for...

LOL!

That would be one way to discourage the little rodent.

Larry Bird? Didn't he used to play about 376218733 years ago? He was the one who helped put the peach basket up at the Springfield Mass. YMCA for Mr. Naismith I believe....

Does it count if it used to be white but the mold on it now makes it kinda look like it's Harvest Gold? I'm just happy it still runs after 23 years.

Mine really is the lovely harvest gold, but it's kind of hard to hate it when it's kept running without major repair for well over 15 years beyond its planned obsolescence date.
