As any kid could probably tell you, Italy's river Po shares its name with which of the following?

A: A Powerpuff Girl B: A Teletubby
C: A Rugrat D: A Fairly OddParent

Natasha has no idea. With 16 seconds left, she decides to Phone A Friend.

Natasha's PAF team (who get no introductions from Meredith) are Jeff, Luci, and Leslie, all of Houston, TX. She decides to call Jeff.

Jeff: Can you say that again?

Natasha repeats the question (leaving out the "As any kid could probably tell you") and answers.

Jeff: Oh, my gosh! Ummmm--

Natasha: All right.

With 11 seconds left, Natasha decides to Ask The Expert.

Bill: Oh, well, I mean--A Teletubby, isn't it? For crying out loud!

Audience: [laughter]

Bill: I mean, now, listen, I'm not a big Teletubbyist.

Natasha: Right.

Bill: I'll be honest with you. A couple of them give me the willies, but at least one of them is named Po. I think.

Natasha: All right.

This loomed large in Good Will Hunting. I thought this one was much easier than $16K -- but only because I'd seen the movie.

A kindergarten teacher not knowing the Teletubbies? Hmm... I'm with Bill Nye, though, they are creepy.

She could have also left out the part about the river. Not that it would have made a difference.

With my math background, I knew this before seeing the choices.

I know the Fields Medal because my brother (a Ph.D candidate in Mathematics) likes to remind me that a woman has never won it, thus proving to him that men are superior in math. Ugh.

We have a part-time worker who's a math major. She's gonna win the Fields Medal.

Well, no. She'd be at Harvard or Princeton if she were that advanced. Oh well.

I am a bit surprised that a Kindergarten teacher knows nothing about Teletubbies (although, in her defense, it is a show directed towards children much younger than school age.)

I am guessing that she never saw "Good Will Hunting", as the Fields Medal is mentioned only a thousand times in the movie. (I believe that it might have been given a screen credit.)

Much younger! IIRC, MarleysNephew saw the Teletubbies when he was around 18 months. The opening credits interested him, but then he immediately got bored with the actual show. :P

I guess it's impossible that someone could watch a movie and forget a detail like that?

I had the right hunch, mostly because I could elimate Marconi and Priestley. I might have Double Dipped between Fields and Rumford.

The Priestley Medal is for chemistry and the Marconi Prize is for communications. That leaves me with two, so I could use DD, but this screams out for the ATE lifeline.

It was mentioned in A Beautiful Mind as well.

Good Will Hunting was on television Saturday -- the Fields Medal is mentioned right off the bat by Prof. Lambeau -- something about whoever solves that proof is Fields Medal material, or something.

This is a rewrite of Rosie O'Donnell's $250,000 question on the very first CelebBAM.

Obviously, if they make you forget what you have already posted.
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.

Don't you mean they are better (watched when one is) on drugs?
