If you haven't googled it already, Staten Island landfill consists of: Vanilla Ice Cream with Brownie chunks, chocolate crunchies, cherries and chocolate fudge. Sounds like a chocoholic's heaven. And in defense of New Jersey, while there are some areas that smell pretty bad, not all of Jersey is a landfill. New Yorkers not too long ago, were treated to a sweet maple syrup like smell from not to far away from where I live.

I didn't google it, so thanks for that info.

And since I'm a native of New Jersey (who moved out), I can ask this.

What was the sweet maple syrup like smell really from, then?

Yum. Both for the ice cream and for maple syrup. I wonder how close the smellogenic molecules are in the herb and in the maple.
