It is odd what sticks in your head. On the 25K Q the answer Babar jumped off the page. I had no idea why I knew it but I did. But given that I usually suck at kiddie lit I probably wouldn't have gone for it at 25K based on that alone but unlike the cast member I would still have all lifelines so I hopefully would have been able to get it.

Is this Googleable? Because I sure don't know the answer. Winnie-the-Pooh jumped out at me, but that's not really based on anything except Christopher Robin being based on A.A. Milne's real-life son. I'll PAF and see what happens.

I am sure that it is Googleable.

As a Daddy who has bought some Babar books, this was an easy question.

I didn't know this, so it would be time for a lifeline. This strikes me as a good PAF question if you have the right PAF.

Is is Googleable within the 30 second PAF time limit? Quick--you've got 30 seconds to think of the search terms (no possibility of the contestant thinking of those before choosing the PAF, with the advent of TDC), type them in and scan for the answer.

Please report what your search phrase was and what results you got.

Advanced search (which is what you should have open for Googling, not the basic screen)
All of the words - father son
One of the words/phrases - Babar, Winnie the Pooh, Paddington (there are only three spaces, and I knew that Curious George was a husband-wife team)

Gets it in one.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

I guess its safe to say that "Famous Names Week" was a big disaster as they only gave away $62,000.

I started with choice A with the intention of putting the name of the character as given, plus "author son". I put in "Babar author son" and the first entry clearly noted it, without even having to click on it. Time elapsed - roughly 6 seconds. I could have gotten through other choices if necessary.

"Babar the Elephant - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaHis son Laurent de Brunhoff was also a talented writer and illustrator, and from 1946 onwards he carried on the series with Babar et Le Coquin d'Arthur and ..."
