Would someone care to add the $200 question? --Bob

She's a WE®, but she's playing for a good cause.

I wouldn't call Tic Tac a "food brand".

I wondered if her not being born and raised in the U.S. might affect her knowledge of pop culture and I suspect that this is why she had to use a lifeline on this question.

Hard to beat that as a hook.

Marley-- take note!
Innocent, naive and whimsical. And somewhat footloose and fancy-free.

Or is like me and doesn't follow or watch the Simpsons. I pledge to study this type of topic if I get a happy card though.

I have already tried something like that hook, but without the background of being a refugee from Liberia.

I think my approach turned out to be a net negative. :|

Did they say how long she has been in the States? A worthy ambition so I hope she does OK but the game is tough enough as it is and could likely be that much harder for someone who didn't grow up here.

Having to ATA at 1K on a fairly straight forward pop culture Q wouldn't seem to bode well. Even a pop culture nit wit like me knew that one.

Then again that may not mean a lot given the "success" of a lot of past cast members.

IIRC, she said they were refugees in '90-'91. I'm not certain how old she is, but I had the impression that she did most of her growing up here.
