Well, now that we KNOW about it, it won't take us any time to get there.
It's been kind of a slow day, but I somehow see it getting a little busier here pretty soon.

Did someone say "odd"?

I'm here!

Actually, that would be "fewer".

Sorry, English teachers just can't help themselves!

I'm just doing my part to help the post count.

We just saw the news crawl that school has been cancelled tomorrow due to ice storms. Woohoo! Now I can help out in the Gus chase!

I wish school were cancelled tomorrow. It will be back in the 70's and my kids will be beyotching and moaning all the way to the bus stop.

This reminds me of a science blog I read earlier today. The post was headlined, "Is Our Schools Failing?" I didn't find any indication of whether irony was intended.

Editing: Never mind. Far down in the comments I found that it is a reference to a Bushism as quoted in Slate. (IMO, for greater understanding, the writer should have mentioned the source.)

I'll miss the chase. I should be in bed now. Leaving in the morning for sunny Ft Lauderdale where Skoop and I will attend a Bocelli concert Tuesday night. Then it's back home Wednesday morning. A quick trip, but a nice diversion from all the Christmas madness going on.

I'm sure the goal will have been met before I get to the Atlanta airport in the morning. :D

Have fun! You may not be surprised to learn that your friend Annie is a Bocelli fan. She has a couple of his CDs that she plays in her laptop, usually early in the morning when I want to sleep late.

Well of course Annie has excellent taste in music. I taught her well. :D I will have to have a little chat with her about appropriate listening times.
