More Cowbell

Emma saw the skit tonight.

She plays drums for her school orchestra and asked for a cowbell for Hanukkah. She wants to whip it out at practice.

Good isn't the issue--loud is.

Of course, with my son, it was a slapstick. So he could do the whipcrack on "Sleigh Ride."

Somehow, it ended up under my bed. And I'm not about to point the way back...

Emma left her bells in my room last night.

In the middle of the night Jasper started "playing" them. Or walking on them. It wasn't particulaly loud, but at 2:00 a.m. it seemed loud.
