What a great time!

#1 Post by T_Bone0806 » Sun Dec 09, 2007 9:43 pm

Got back late Friday night from the House of Mouse. Lots to share, but it'll have to wait. Spent all weekend unpacking, trying to get organized for the holidays (still MUCH shopping to do!!), and so on. I'm getting pretty pooped, and tomorrow it's back to work (ugh).

The short version: :D

The long version will be posted later on.

Always good to hear from you again, Tbone.

I typed out a whole report, very long, and hit submit, only to be told I had to log back in. When I did, I lost the whole damn post.

So the report will have to wait. Today was back to work day and I'm pooped. Tomorrow is daughter's birthday and we are doing stuff. I'll file my report eventually.

Don't you hate that when that happens.

It's hard to get it up to reproduce a great report.

I do hate it when it happens, and I can't figure out why it happens. At home it happens after about 30 minutes of idle, but at work that never seems to be the case even though I may go the same length of time without posting anything.

AARGH! Drat!

Last time that happened to me, I was able to to hit Back and get it back. I dunno why I wasn't logged completely out.

Every Monday night we watch Jon & Kate Plus 8. Last week they took their 8 kids to D-World; driving 19 hours from their home in PA to Orlando (the expense and other logistics of flying 8 kids plus themselves is enough to make even the sanest and most organized person's head spin). They had three friends join them to help caretake the kids but, otherwise, I couldn't imagine trying to keep tabs on 6 three-year olds plus the 6-year old twins. Years ago we took our five kids to D-Land and had a blast but ours were much older at the time and ours were not satisfied with the kiddie rides.

Yay for a short version of the long version. I miss Disney. I was actually just looking at Jet Blue to see if I could sneak down there for a short weekend before the holidays, but that's a no go.

We have annual passes to Disneyland and DCA, but haven't been going as often because of the girls' busy schedule.
