I am consistent if nothing else...

Q1: Album Title
1. The
2. Miss
3. Divine
4. M

Q2: Literary characters by earliest appearance
1. Hannibal Lechter
2. Icabod Crane
3. Willy Loman
4. Willy Wonka

Q3: Cities along the Mississippi North to South
1. St. Louis
2. Baton Rouge
3. Memphis
4. Minneapolis

And, now, the crusher

Q4: Events in Chronological order starting with the most recent
1. Althea Gibson win Wimbledon
2. Bella Abzug does something (can't remember and couldn't write fast enough)
3. Amelia Aerhart does her thing
4. Ruth Bader Ginsberg put on Supreme Court

I put 4213 and met Sad Fred again

Hey, if nothing else, I'm getting edumacated.

I believe 4213 has to be correct for that one. Bella Abzug's notoriety came mainly in the 1970s, well after Gibson's accomplishment in 1957 and well before Ginsberg's nomination in the 1990s. Maybe you fat-fingered or something?

I think the answer to that one is 3214.Amelia Earhart was in the 30's.  There's a movie about her coming out later this year.Althea Gibson won Wimbledon in the 60's-I think, WAY before Serena & Venus were even born.Bella ran for Congress in the Early 70's.Ginsburg was appointed to the Supreme Court by Clinton in the 90s.

But I had never typed in something that I didn't mean to type in. For this one. I said to myself 1342, 1342, 1342 before I proceeded to type in 1324. Done.

I guess it's good to know I can at least get to Q5...

Q1: Just the facts, Maam. A classic Q1, as I recall.

Q2: Put these dictators in order of their birth, starting with the earliest:
1. Stalin
2. Caesar
3. Hitler
4. Ferdinand Marcos

Whether order of birth or significance (no offense intended to Filipinos), I know which one is last, anyway.
Spoiler
2134
Q3: Put these movies in geographic order based on the US place in the title, starting in the west:
1. Mississippi Burning
2. Texas Chainsaw Massacre
3. LA Confidential
4. Raising Arizona

I like questions where I don't have to write down everything; maybe I'm getting old, but Fred does seem faster.
Spoiler
3421
Q4: Put these inventions in chronological order, starting with the earliest:
1. Lie Detector
2. Barbed Wire
3. Soft bifocal contact lenses
4. Velcro
Spoiler
2143
Q5: Put these novels in order of their release, starting with the earliest:
1. Primary Colors
2. Love in the Time of Cholera
3. Roots
4. The Nanny Diaries
Spoiler
3214. I knew the date of three of the books, but had no idea of Love's publication date. The movie version was done significantly later than the novel, as it turns out...
I'd like to succeed, certainly, but more importantly, it's fun to play, see questions, and see how others do. It's also nice to see some of the user names here from boards I participated in years ago. Thanks for letting me join.

I just looked it up. I had 700 Sundays right. But Private Parts came before Rush Limbaugh Is a Big Fat Idiot. I thought Private Parts came out in 1997, and the movie version came out in 1998. Private Parts actually came out in 1993, with the movie being released in 1997.

Dammit.

3. Law
4. Action
Spoiler
3124
2 Terms in popular culture, early to recent:

4. Yuppie
Spoiler
AAAARGH! I heard/thought "gangsta" (as in rap) so answered 3421. Of course it must have been 1342.
So they must have a database of answers for chronology/geography and other large-set questions and randomly mix them. Good idea.

Place these words in order to form the name of a 2006 book.

1) Three
2) Of
3) Tea
4) Cups
Spoiler
1 4 2 3, I'm guessing lol
Just out of curiosity, is there any advantage to qualifying earlier, other than the peace of mind?

I played better tonight and kept better track of my answers, although I still went down on Question 3.

I. Put these events in chronological order, starting with the earliest:

1. Lindberg baby is kidnapped
2. Napoleon marries Josephine
3. Romans mint coins
4. Marco Polo goes to China (or something like that. Obviously only the first word is needed and the rest of each clue is there only to make it sound harder than it is.)
Spoiler
3421
II. Order in which these television shows first aired, starting with the earliest:

1. Smallville
2. The Munsters
3. ALF
4. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Spoiler
2341
III. Order of birth for these musicians, starting with the most recent:

1. Eric Clapton
2. Buster Rhymes. Okay, I heard Buster. Fred must have said Busta.
3. Shania Twain
4. Nelly Furtado
Spoiler
It should have been 4231. I said 4321. I would have been right if Mr. Fred had said Buster, and Buster (not Busta) had followed up his football career with a music career. Busta, who I thought was Buster but as it turns out was only named after him, was not born until 1972, after Miss Shania. Oh, well.
New method and new attitude will go forth tomorrow. I am trying to teach Lizbit to never give up, even if something seems kind of hard at first, and even when it's something that was designed for pushing numbers with fingers, instead of toes, which are the only digital appendages that Lizbit and I can provide.

Yeah, it turns out this isn't even close -- something like 3,600 for Beijing to Moscow (a lot less than I would have guessed), and about 6,250 for Beijing to L.A. depending on which website you ask. (more than I thought).
