I've never been one of those who object to the usage of "Nihil obstat®" but why are people adding "so far" to the phrase? Isn't it implicitly understood that a review of a transcript does not apply to questions that have not yet been revealed?earendel wrote: Nihil obstat® so far.
The elegance of Nihil obstat® lies in its sophistication and brevity!

Hey! I instituted the phrase, and I can use it any way I choose!MarleysGh0st wrote:I've never been one of those who object to the usage of "Nihil obstat®" but why are people adding "so far" to the phrase? Seriously, you're right, although I normally only use it to indicate that the contestant's stack isn't complete yet (that is, the contestant is still playing).
