Okay, more details are necessary. I didn't post a link to that George because she has personal identification in her profile, including her e-mail address.
Not sure why that matters... it's a perfectly public profile.
MarleysGh0st wrote:BTW, I didn't know my friend was a Georger, but her overall rank is pretty close to yours!
Well, that makes her pretty easy to ID since there's only one female Georger from that part of NJ who is close to my stats, and has her email address in the profile....

My original statement still applies in this situation, though. The bill didn't travel far, and you have friends in the area it was released in. Certainly neat, but in no way extraordinary a la someone on this Bored finding one of mine or your bills...

I'd just settle for a stranger finding "my" bill...

After a long dry spell, South Dakota becomes my 44th state!

Sounds like George is on vacation. 8)
I turned up at the Historic "Saloon Number 10" in Deadwood, South Dakota. I am on my way to my next adventure. See ya soon.

I'm not into the whole "Where's George?" thing, but I got a marked bill in change yesterday at the cafeteria in the basement of our building. The cashier told me, "The burden is on you to report this bill." So I decided to do so. Turns out the bill started out in Newcastle, OK, then went straight to North Carolina before arriving in Louisville. This morning I put the bill into a vending machine.

Good for you for logging it, ear! It's a rare George that gets even two hits like this!

I believe it means "user entered, country not available". I'm pretty sure there are possible entries for every country out there now...maybe he was lost and didn't know where he was.

Beats the hell out of me. When I first saw it, it reminded me of some of the comments that get caught in my spam filter on my blog... but it does seem to be George related stuff....

I have a guess.

#5370!3BILLS2HITS!99BILLS1HIT$34942^210STEALTHBILLS(2)-75wilds"47NEWSHARPIEBILLS(7)*24*starnotebills(0)-**14trackmebills(0)newsharpie@WILDFOUND2wildDAY

This bill was the 5370th he entered; currently, he's entered 5,376
3 of the bills he's entered have 2 hits
99 of the bills he's entered have 1 hit (this adds up to 102 bills hit with 105 total hits; his profile says he has 102 with 106, so maybe one of his 2-hitters is really a 3-hitter?)
$34942 could be the total value of bills he's entered
He has entered 210 stealth bills and 2 have been hit
His profile confirms that he's entered 75 wilds
7 of the 47 bills he marked with the "new sharpie" have hits
None of the 24 bills with a star serial number have hits
None of the 14 bills he marked with a "track me" stamp have hits
This bill was marked with the new sharpie?
This bill was a wild
He entered 2 wilds today?

Delaware does exist! And this George has crossed the, uhhh, Delaware, and gone all the way down its coast to its southern edge to prove it!

http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.php? ... d201aa5c7b

This is my 45th state. Five more (plus DC) to complete my USA bingo.

I guess I need to take a road trip to the high plains...with a detour through Tunica.

Iowa's the only one that really surprises me that you haven't gotten yet. There are more than cornfields turned ballfields there....

Wyoming is hard as hell to get. I've only had 6 Wyoming hits in the 10 years I've been doing this... and was lucky to get one of those within my first year. Vermont is my only tougher state with just 2 hits ever, and I'm not so sure they weren't both off the same bill....

I had my first Delaware hit last week.
It's about 20 miles from Marley's hit.

I need Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, Nevada and Wyoming for my USA bingo.

I still need these:

Alaska, Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Montana, Rhode Island, & Vermont

I have spent quite a few bills in Wyoming because my in-laws live there. I'm disappointed not to have Montana. We've visited there a few times overt the years, too.

Nice!

Also interesting that you took George to Chicago seven and a half years ago, and he's barely made it out of town since then.

First, I hate the new website.

Second, I had a bill hit twice this morning, only 50 minutes apart.

The new upgrade is going to take some getting used to, but it's the third WG site redesign I've gone through and I've eventually acclimated to each new version....

I do not like that it spoils the city on the list that comes up when I go to check my hits. I like to be surprised when I click on a hit link...
