Thanks, Marley!! Too bad you aren't closer to Albany, I'd come take you for a spin!!

I can't drive with the top down to CT though, I need an "in transit" permit to get it to CT so I can register it, so top must stay up until I do that. Which is quite okay, I can focus on getting used to driving standard again...then add the wind factor later!

Yes, I did...and I have to take a car service tomorrow to pick it up! But you know what? It cost $4,000 less to do that than to have my now-seemingly-quite-shady local dealer go to Albany and pick it up for me!!! So it's worth the $189 for the car service (well really, $95 since the dealer in Albany was nice enough to split with me too) to save that chunk o' change!!

No pictures? No one would take you? How far is Albany??

Could I ask anymore questions? I'm glad you found what you were looking for at a price you wanted.
Have fun!

Google Maps says it's about two hours from Hartford, CT.

What has me scratching my head is that shiny red convertibles apparently aren't available anywhere in New England. Do you think the automobile industry uses that New Yorker map?

you have to post a pic of you in the car. I'm living vicariously through you.

It's getting less and less appealing for me to ever come to NY to see you again... :P

More like, let's spend the rest of my Millionaire money on something fun. Women in my family live to be like 140, I'm nowhere near the middle of my life...

Well, you are just the BOMB, arent ya! :)

Ok.. so I'll take you for a spin in my shiny (not so) new (not convertible but moon-roofed) car. Only if you spin me in yours.

BTW, my car is DAMMED fast. I'd like to race you up Rt 84 one day. Loser buys.

I'm sure your car might be faster than mine. My Acura is faster than the convertible will be. But the Acura is due back in January, and the convertible is so red and pretty and shiny...

I've gotten two tickets in the last two years, how about we assume your car will win, I save the $400 I'd get on the ticket from our race, and I'll just buy you a drink next time I see you...it's really a lot cheaper that way!!

Luckily, I hold my liquor so well, that I'm not drunk at all! Well...either that or the liter of coffee I drank AFTER the bottle of wine had the desired effect.

Needless to say, I don't think Moonie said anything about seeing you so if there were secrets to be had, you just spilled them...or is this a distraction technique??
