Yeeeeaaaah Boooooyyyyyy!! My video was selected also. It was a quick 75 second video of myself holding my newborn telling them why to pick me. Nothing too special but I probably get bonus attention for not being a MAWG. I submitted it at about 10 pm on Monday night and heard back this evening. Good luck to everyone taking the test and to all who are submitting videos. I'm happy to give any feedback to anyone who wants it but I have twice failed to make the 2nd interview so I'm not quite sure what they are looking for.

Oh yeah, I'm also taking the test Friday at 7 pm.

Congrats to all that have heard back thus far! Hopefully you won't encounter the difficulties that many here experienced while attempting to take the test, and that you get notified of your status after you do take it.

Haha, seriously though, congrats guys, especially you, Phil Ken Sebbin! I remember we both made our introductions on this board on the same day as we were anxiously awaiting our first audition/postcard.

Anyway, I think I did really well on tonight's J! exam, so hopefully that works out beautifully. I noticed in another thread that gsabc submitted his video at 10:30 pm on Monday and got his email this afternoon, while Phil said he submitted his at 10 pm and got his email this evening. Maybe I'm grasping at straws here, but let's keep those positive thoughts up, Jeemie, vettech, boobola, and anyone else!

Yes, in my brief period of feeling sorry for myself yesterday, I failed to congratulate all who had received the invitation! Congrats and Good Luck guys!!!

I briefly felt sorry for myself too, but quickly came out of it, and thought of ideas to improve even more.

There have been guys that eventually got on after being turned down many, many times. I'll just be one of those guys.

Yep, especially the PTBAM stuff since I've been through last year's SyndieBAM questions. Also a movie spoiler site or two. Dunno where to go for the music or TV stuff - maybe just to grammys.com and emmys.com for the highlights.

I wore sweats, then a salmon polo, then a white t-shirt, then a red shirt and tie in my accepted video.

Congrats again to all! I wonder if there's any hope that they might still be sending out emails tomorrow. And if I don't get an email tomorrow, I wonder if I should call them back and ask them if I passed the first test back in July...

Wow, this board does good.

In July, when they first did the video submission, BBs and newbie BBs snagged 11 spots.

This month, when you might expect the comeptition to be greater because of the promotion of auditions on PT-BAM combined with the fact that TPTB are probably picking fewer videos (they already have a pool), BBs + newbie BBs snagged 7 spots.

Not bad!

Of course, the "promotion" of auditions actually wasn't all that great.

Regis told people to "go to abc.com".

Once you get to abc.com, you still have a few more clicks before you can find out about auditions and video submissions. So only determined contestant wannabes would continue to look from there.

But still, great job everyone!
