Not sure how an offer of hospitality gets interpreted as propositioning, but whatever.

Tell that squirrel to get the heck off Matias! The kid is working out -- doing pushups on the beach -- and he gets attacked by a fuzz-faced cowboy wannabe. It's not right, I tell you!

You saying you wouldn't love the feel of a fluffy squirrel sitting on your bare back? Just ask Annie how much she loves it....
Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!
--squirrelmama (10/3/07)
Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

The only place I like the feel of a fluffy squirrel is between my teeth. Mangy fur floss is quite effective for getting rid of little pieces of stuck kibble.

Thanks, SC! That's exactly right.
He pushes himself up so he's standing, then takes a few steps.
Clayton made up to him Sunday, but then, Clayton's a hussy. It was very cute.

Off of reliever Shigetoshi Hasegawa, Quinn would smack his second homerun of the game, which put the Royals up 5-4. And while the shoddy Royals bullpen would later lose the game for them, one thing they could not piss away was Quinn's place in baseball history. Only the Browns' Bob Nieman (Ironically on this day 58 years ago) and the A's Bert Campaneris on July 23, 1964 had ever hit a pair of homers in their Major League debut prior to Quinn. I am still amazed to this day that it has only happened three times EVER, but of course, I am always rooting against every player who makes their debut to not go yard twice, thus preserving the absolute rarity of the event I got to witness.....

Reading over the original thread, I can't recall going off but so far by myself until I was about 28. You always go with someone back and forth to college or theme parks if for no other reason than to share gas or only one of your friends has a car. I think my first solo long distance trip was flying up to NY to meet Steve for Christmas break and we drove back together (he had driven up previously but I was working,) so it was a matter of a flight lasting less than an hour by myself.
It's cheaper to go with someone and share expenses! And funner.

He wants to get one and play with it in the pool. I think Rain Man is more cat than human. Very anti-social, or at least indifferent to human companionship...

If you want to know about geography or cats, ask Rain Man. I played that Lufthansa game 53,724 times trying to come close to his first attempt and I'm 3 times his age. The kid knows what he knows!
