Oatmeal: Even with butter and cinnamon sugar, it is still good for me?

I have bought some of the good stuff, that takes ten minutes to make. No matter what you do to it, it still tastes like oatmeal, but this combination is bearable.

I guess it makes more sense to eat it for breakfast, but I like it for my evening meal, after I get home from work.

I'll have mine with Bailey's Irish Cream.

How about some Breakfast Tacos?

I know Bix hasn't been around for awhile, but they always work!

So I will have one with Orange Juice with a splash of lime.

Sparkling Christies will have to wait. It is grey/gray here and not sparkling for a Monday morning.

Yeah, but we still don't have any of the white stuff in the forecast; I'm beginning to believe that we might make it through without any more significant accumulations!

The Canada Geese ought to get started on their nest building, any day now. And I took a walk over at Sapsucker Woods after work on Friday and the Great Blue Herons are back! First, I saw one of them perched in the tree, right next to last year's nest (I'm suspecting that might have been one of the youngsters, coming back home) and then I saw a pair of them flying overhead (they make a rather hoarse, raucous call that's a bit startling). I think they'll be raising another family there, this year! :)

Before everyone runs off into the moratorium lounge, we have more pressing matters to discuss now....

Special K has some really good cereals now. I got two different kinds last week. My friendly
CVS was nice enough to have them for $1.97 a box, about half what the grocery wants.

That's gonna be my breakfast, and perhaps even my dinner if I feel like it, for the next couple
of weeks. :)

Does it involve scritch reform? Or is that a political issue that has no business in the moratorium lounge?

If scritch reform happens can we expect an increase in our taxes? And I thought all states' borders were open. Do squirrels need a passport?

I have heard its easier for al Qaida operatives to get into Colorado than it is for rodents....

Maybe the rodents should join al Qaida, or do they have enough rats?

This is what we think of Al Qaeda operatives and incoming mangy rodents in Colorado --

Are you saying ES and MBRS should become part of the National Apathy Party like me? You should be proud of the fact that they are making a stand for what they believe in.....

Fact of life, Miss. If you're gonna hang around with mangy rodents, you're probably gonna pick up some ridiculousness.

Tell you what, ditch the sign and go to Hawaii!

(Then ES will follow her! And he'll be in Hawaii! I love a good plan!)

No, I'm saying that they should go to Hawaii.

Dunno how I can make this any plainer . . .

I figured you'd be happy they went to Washington DC, which I think is farther from Colorado than ES usually is....

I guess there's no pleasing you....

Ack! I thought that was supposed to be the Building of the Golden Dome!

By all means, stay in DC for a while.

Well, I can modify that if you think ES and MBRS should start off at the state level.....
