Happy OTHER Birthday

#1 Post by AnnieCamaro » Sun Apr 25, 2010 3:15 pm

I've been waiting and waiting for Miss Sprots to be the first to wish a happy birthday to one of my very best frienemies, but she's been here and that doesn't seem to be happening, so I am plowing right ahead.

Happy birthday to Evil Squirrel! I hope you have a wonderful day and an adventure-filled year. May your apples and acorns remain plentiful, your belly remain full, and your aim remain terrible. Even when I'm mad at you, I'm glad to know you. You are, as they say, "interesting."

Let's celebrate many more, pal.

Best birthday wishes,
Annie

Happy birthday. Be careful if kiki invites you over for a swim.

Hey, you're a Taurus! Just like me and the Saucy one.....

Stay gold, Squirrellyboy.

Thanks Annie for remembering me, you're the second bestest (next to your sister, of course!), but that's not bad in my book....

And thanks everyone else for the wishes and scritches..... well, I must have missed the scritches.....

And poor Sprots, she is too choked up to say anything. I will visit her personally tomorrow and give her a big squorrel hug......

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

That always reminds me of the episode of "Frasier" when Woody came for a visit...

Frasier: Well, Woody, I thought that tonight we would maybe just stay in, you know, order some pizza?
Woody: Sounds good by me.
Frasier: Okay, great. I'll just call the place around the corner. Niles? You, uh, going to join us?
Niles: Oh, why not? Be fun to drink some beer and have some pizza with a couple of rapscallions.
Woody: Oh, hey, if you don't mind, could we make that half rapscallions, half pepperoni?

Happy Birthday, nutjob!!1

Dearest Annie -- You are indeed the bestest. You would have been waiting a looooooooooooooong time for me to wish any mangy rodent a happy birthday.

ES always has Colorado-free days -- that pesky restraining order and all . . .

Marley, you do not know the half of it. LB's avatar will immediately find a permanent home on my desktop because of the many, many times I have felt exactly the same way, except I've pressed the plunger, and ES is in a million pieces all over the sidewalk. I also cherish the one where I squish him with the steamroller. In other words, I don't protest enough, but I abhor violence enough that I stop before I actually do anything that I can't stand to look at.

Sprots was not too choked up to say anything. Sprots went to a party where there were six adults, one children, five regular adult dogs, and one regular puppy. Joey would have loved chewing on a little squirrel fur . . .

Besides, stay away from me. Stay out of Colorado. Go to Hawaii. You look ridiculous.

Good grief.
